This is a special space for writers to dedicate quality time to their novel, short story or current project.
Back home again, we now have time to reflect on our second Write Out West tour in Southwestern Queensland in August, this year. It was another great success, presenting workshops in St George, Roma and Dalby by experienced writers in WWQ. Everyone, including the members who travelled with us, gained so many insights to develop their writing prowess.
Connecting with our writing buddies in these rural towns is one of the highlights of our trip , not only sharing our writing expertise but making many new friends. We encourage everyone to join WWQ so we can continue to support rural writers in one of our Work in Progress groups. These groups offer you an opportunity for ongoing support and encouragement with your writing.
An important focus at WWQ is to maintain contact with our members, especially those who cannot attend meetings physically. They can now join our meetings online which is proving very beneficial for us all.
This annual tour is a wonderful opportunity to meet members of the Society of Women Writers Queensland as well as attend these one-day workshops by experienced authors from Women Writers Qld who will offer you practical tools and creative spark for your creative writing.
We appreciate our ongoing partnership and support from Storyfest this year as well as the RADF funding received from Balonne & Western Downs Councils.
